Well, it is that time of year when those pesky little sugar ants invade my kitchen. They get all over the countertop near my sink. Definitely a pain trying to squish them with my fingers or the cleaning cloth.
Something that is much easier to deal with this invasion is mixing up a few oils in a small spray bottle. When we lived in our last home there were ant invasions there too. Give this recipe a try and see how it works for you.
10 drops each of Peppermint, Thieves™ and Lemon YL essential oil
1 tsp witch hazel or rubbing alcohol
small glass or plastic sprayer bottle
*Place the essential oils and witch hazel into the spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle up with the distilled water. Gently shake and then spray where the ants are coming in and on their trail.
