Dehydrating Ginger

Updated: Jan 17

I have begun to dehydrate my ginger. Discovered how simple it is to peel with a peeler and a small knife then grate up. I place the ginger on my solid inserts, set for 10 hours at 135 degrees. Works perfectly.

Let the ginger cool down for about 10-15 minutes and place in an airtight jar. This was a used salsa jar and lid. Keep those usable glass jars and lids. They will come in handy to place dried food or other items in. Use what you have available instead of spending more money on things you don't need.

Watch your pennies for they add up over time.

To use the ginger, just grab a chunky pinch, place in your hand and rub with your fingers. This breaks the ginger up into tiny pieces ready to add to whatever meal you are making. Quick and easy tip for today. So, grab your organic ginger and start dehydrating it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day.
