This is a tasty meal, perfect on a cold day. Pulling this casserole out of the oven piping hot was totally awesome!!

The peppers I used were ones that I can pickled and canned. Mini sliced up bell peppers. Yep, I do a lot of canning. Saves money for my family. Anyways, if you have fresh on hand use that. Also, I know what is in my food with what I can.

When you need a quick meal to whip up with items you have on hand this will do the job and fill those tummies up. Enjoy!

Philly Cheese Casserole:

1 pound of ground hamburger or stew meat (cut in little pieces)

3 stalks of celery

5-6 fresh mini bellpeppers or one jar of canned

1 - 8 ounce jar of mushrooms or 2 handfuls of fresh

3 large eggs

Salt, pepper, granulated garlic and onion powder to taste

3 TBS worchestershire sauce

1/2 cup of THM (Trim Healthy Mama) flour or regular flour

dash of hot sauce

1 cup total of yellow, parmesan (canned) or provolone cheese grated (choose what you like)

Add the cooked meat, eggs, flour, all dried seasonings, worchestershire sauce and hot sauce in a bowl then mix well. Pour into a casserole dish. Add 1/2 cup cheese. Sautee the celery, finely chopped cauliflower, bellpeppers and mushrooms if you are using fresh. If canned, just layer on top of the meat and seasoning mixture. Add another 1/2 cup of cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes at 370 degrees. May have to vary the temperature and cooking time due to what type of oven you have.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
