One of my goals this summer was to have enough green beans canned so I wouldn't have to purchase any. The prices on canned veggies really has gone throught the roof.
Did you know that green beans are a versatile veggie??? They are. Just grab a handful or a jar of canned ones and add to a casserole.
With my spaghetti sauce I add tomatoes, onions, garlic, green beans and sometimes carrots. If there are other veggies you want to add to the sauce, go for it. My spices are salt, pepper, dried oregano, thyme, rosemary and basil. Add everything together and cook it down. Serve over noodles or rice.
